Description

The Challenger 605 was introduced in 2005 at the NBAA Convention in Orlando, FL. It is similar to the CL604 but will feature the Rockwell Collins Pro-Line 21 avionics suite and a redesigned cabin.

The Challenger 604 has been the fastest selling model of the Challenger series of aircraft, to date. It is powered by GE CF34-3B engines, with three percent lower fuel consumption, than 601-3A engines. The 604 have a maximum range of 4,000 NM.

The Challenger 605 made its first flight on January 22, 2006.

The Challenger 650 was introduced in 2014 at the NBAA Convention in Orlando, FL. It is similar to the CL605 except with a redesigned cabin, cockpit and upgraded GE CF34-3B engines with 5% more take off thrust. This gives the Challenger 650 better short field take off performance than the 605.

Description

The Falcon 2000EX EASy is the same as the Falcon 2000EX, except that it uses the Honeywell EASy cockpit. EASy represents progress toward a virtually paperless cockpit. Goals of the EASy cockpit are improved situational awareness and reduced cockpit workload. The EASy cockpit is based somewhat on the hardware platform of Honeywell’s Primus Epic system.

The EASy cockpit has four 14.1-inch Primus Epic screens that can display all information from aircraft sensors affecting systems, communications, navigation, and flight management.

The Falcon 2000EX with Pratt & Whitney Canada 308C engines and 3,845 NM range was certificated in 2003. First deliveries of the Falcon 2000EX EASy were made in 2005.

Description

The Falcon 2000LXS adds the short-field performance capabilities of the Falcon 2000S to the long-range capabilities of the Falcon 2000LX. This includes the Aviation Partners blended winglets and 4,000 nm range. The avionics are upgraded to Honeywell EASy II.

The Falcon 2000LXS will retain the LX’s 7,000-hour TBO, 7,000- pounds-thrust PWC 308C turbofans. Other improvements are better soundproofing, a new cabin management system called FalconCabin HD+, and an upgraded satellite communications system

Description

The Gulfstream G300 was introduced in 2002 as part of Gulfstream’s transformation of their product line. Technically speaking, the G300 and G400 are both G IVSP’s. The G300 only comes with certain standardized cabin and avionics options, plus it has a fuel load of 26,900 pounds, 3,000 less than a G IVSP or G400. Gulfstream refers to the G300 as “the new GIII” while some members of the aviation press used the “G400 lite” moniker. The G300 and G400 share the same airframe structure parts and labor warranty.

The G300 production run was initiated just after the 500th G IV model was produced and ceased in 2004, when it was superseded by the G350.

The Gulfstream G350 and G450 were introduced in 2004 as part of Gulfstream’s transformation of their product line. Technically speaking the G350 and G450 are G300 and G400’s that have installed the same one-foot longer cockpits found in the G500 and G550. The G350 and G450 have also upgraded the avionics suite from the Honeywell SPZ 8400 to the same Honeywell PlaneView avionics suite found in the G500 and G550.

Production of the G350 started in 2004.

Legacy Executive/Corporate Shuttle

The Legacy is Embraer’s mid-size corporate and executive jet derived from the ERJ-135 and ERJ-145 commercial regional jetliners. The Legacy Executive is configured with 15 seats, the Corporate Shuttle with 19 seats.

Although the Legacy is derived from the regional jet family, the airframe underwent a number of changes. Some changes include the addition of winglets (Executive only) to provide increased lift and improve efficiency with reduced drag of the tip vortex. Other additions include fuselage strakes, underbelly and cargo compartment tanks and the Honeywell Primus 1000 avionics suite. The Legacy is powered by two Rolls-Royce AE3007-A1E Engines.

Description

Announced at the 2009 NBAA convention that Embraer already had 2 Legacy 650’s flight testing. Certification is expected in 2010 with first deliveries that same year. Originating from the ERJ-135, the Legacy 650 certification will be based on the Legacy 600. The Legacy 650 is meant to expand the Legacy line, not to replace the Legacy 600.

The wing comes from the EMB 145 with the addition of winglets. The structure has been reinforced and the aft wing/fuselage fairing has been re-sculpted. Reinforced landing gear comes to compensate for the higher weight of the Legacy 650. Rolls Royce AE 3007A2 engines provide 9,020 pounds of thrust each.

Honeywell Primus Elite avionics suite is standard up front and the Rockwell Collins Air show will control cabin entertainment. A lavatory and galley are also standard. An internal baggage compartment is accessible in-flight with a 240 cubic foot capacity. Folding shelves are optional for the baggage compartment.
